A very special tasting of Rosebank 33 Year Old Distillery Exclusive, followed by two aged single malt whiskies from our sister distilleries paired with chocolate. The experience includes a full guided tour of Rosebank Distillery, and a sample of New Make Spirit, served in the still house.
Your experience begins with the tales of old Rosebank projected onto the original distillery buildings, followed by a guided tour of our magnificent new glass-fronted still house. You will see every step of Rosebank’s unique production process, pausing by the spirit safe to sample our New Make Spirit straight from the stills, followed by a visit to the warehouse where you’ll see casks of Rosebank, some filled before the distillery closed its doors over thirty years ago. This tour finishes in our private tasting room, with a special tasting of Rosebank 33 Year Old Single Malt, from one of only 650 bottles. You will also sample a pair of aged single malts from our sister distilleries, expertly paired with a handmade chocolate.
Your visit will end in our shop, where you’ll find the world’s most extensive collection of aged Rosebank bottles. Important to know If you are driving to the distillery, or do not wish to try our whisky while on the tour, please ask for one of our takeaway packs, to take home, savour and enjoy, after your visit with us. By default, tours are conducted in English, but we have support materials in other languages.
Children can join tours if accompanying and adult.
Rosebank fired into life in 1840 on the banks of the Forth & Clyde canal, just west of Falkirk in the heart of the Lowlands. The distillery was founded by James Rankine, a local wine merchant, and within forty years the Rankines were shipping their whisky half way around the world to Australia …
Ian McLeod bought the mothballed distillery after it had been closed for decades and painstakingly restored it to beyond its former glory. It is now reopened for whisky lovers to enjoy.
