A unique opportunity to look behind-the-scenes at one of Scotland’s oldest operating distilleries. Each batch of Glen Garioch is carefully crafted through traditional distillation practices rarely used today. During this experience, your guide will take you to areas of our distillery unseen by the public. You will learn about the care and craftmanship that goes into each stage of flavour creation in every batch of our hearty, Highland single malt while sampling some special whiskies along the way.The tour includes 4 cask strength whiskies, at least one of which will be drawn straight from the barrel in our iconic Warehouse No.4.Specialising in single casks, we lay our spirit down to mature in our traditional dunnage warehouses, nestled out of sight down one of the town’s many quiet, wee roads. Your guide will talk you through the art of maturation while you draw spirit straight from cask to glass. There is no better way to appreciate a dram.At a glance: A behind-the-scenes tour, exploring areas not normally viewed by the public and finishing with learning to draw whisky from the cask in Warehouse No.4. This experience is exclusively for adults over 18. For any driver in your party, we have takeaway drams, to ensure everyone can enjoy a taste of our craftsmanship. Silent Seasons:Creating our complex and perfectly flavoured Glen Garioch Single Malt is a labour of love, and like all distilleries, we need to dedicate some time for essential maintenance and improvements to enhance our facilities.
