“My wife and I had a fabulous time here! Max, the tour guide was incredible. So knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! He gave us a great tour of the facilities and answered all of the questions our group asked without issue. Lucas, in the gift shop, was so friendly and helpful! He helped my wife and I pick out a number of gifts to take back to family. We also did the chocolate and whiskey tasting with Amanda. She knew her stuff! Helped us understand the different flavors of the whiskeys we tried, and recommended trying different chocolates with each whiskey. You also get four chocolate bars to take home for your own tastings. Highly recommend checking them out! Feels like a family while you’re there. Prices are reasonable, whiskeys are great, and parking was easy.”

“Max gave us a fantastic tour! It was an affordable experience and included a two dram tasting (with additional tastings possible) at the end. It was much easier to understand and appreciate the scotch making process after the tour. And the only bummer was that my wife was discouraged from trying the two drams due to her driving. They attempt to make up for it by giving you cute little glass containers to take the included sampling home with you, which is a nice compromise. I totally recommend this experience and Max.”

“In my opinion best Distillery ever. Why? Great whisky, cask explores, so a very divers range of drams for everyone to enjoy ! And whilst there, have a coffee with freshly baked cake(s) or grab some lunch. The soup, andwiches and toasties are like the whisky oh so yumm 🥃🥰”

“We had a wonderful tour, led by Rebecca. Seeing the distillery in action - smelling the malt being milled, mashed and then the stills- was truly a great experience. The staff were great (James, in the Visitor Center took fantastic care of us too!), and I highly recommend a visit to Glen Moray.”

“We visited the Glen Moray distillery this week for my husbands 40th birthday trip. The tour was bit non descript. It was ok, it was very scripted throughout and not massively engaging. Difficult to hear him in many parts of the tour. After our session ended we went to the tasting bit, we got 2 very small samples of whiskey, and if you were driving then you had to funnel your own samples into the little bottles (which were about a third of the way full). My husband wanted to do a taster at the end of our tour, Max said we could, however the lady on the reception desk said we couldn’t when Max asked her to sort for us, as they stopped serving at 4.30pm (it was 4.35pm and we had literally just finished our tour) which was a bit disappointing. It felt like they wanted to shut up shop and go home. If you are looking to do a distillery tour, then this one is ok if on a budget and just want the basics, but there are other tours locally which are a little more informative and a nicer experience.”
