“As whiskey tours go this is pretty much the same as most. Unfortunately this historic Scottish company has been taken over by the French! They have only changed the historic bottle shape/style and now they are starting to work on completely changing the flavour by removing pete from the process. I'm not sure how the staff on the tour can speak so highly of a company that has completely ruined the history of this Scottish company. Sad!”
“This is such a great place to visit, and not just for whiskey lovers either !. The lalique glass designs in the shop are beautiful. The distillery tour is really interesting, and the staff are some of the friendliest and knowledgeable we have met. There is a special michellin star restaurant for foodies. ( best to book in advance in my opinion !).”
“A fantastic tour, our guide, John, was super friendly and informative. Make sure you check out the latest mice killers at work, their names are Glen and Turrent. Ample parking is available, but the tour isn't wheelchair accessible.”
“My wife and I took the tour with John. He took great detail explaining the history of Glenturett and the process of distilling whiskey. My wife loved the gin and tonic(she doesn't like whiskey) and the cats Glenn and Turret. The entire staff was friendly and fun.”
“Lovely small distillery ! John , our tour guide, was super and explained every step of the process well. The tour was more focused on the distillery's unique history and current ideals than the technical side of whisky making which we enjoyed . The Distillery has the very endearing trait of being very cat friendly , they currently have two cats and you can see that they rule the roost . We tasted two of their whiskies , the shop was fab.”
